1 CUT BACK TO the 'Nauts in the Main Chamber. The 'Nauts are defending Rann, who's still on his knees in mid-link w/ the Microverse a la the EF. Huntarr and Acroyear are keeping the K'Lar warriors at bay (Acroyear has one by its tail, swinging it around and knocking other K'Lar down like bowling pins). Mari is turning, concerned about Rann (but not simpering!) and Bug is asking--comically--if anyone else just had a flashpresent as he vaults over a lunging warrior a la Nightcrawler or Spidey.
Rann and Fireflyte are the focus of the panel as Fireflyte soothes Rann, helping him channel the EF. He's telling her that they're loosing to the K'Lar, thousands are dying and he can feel their deaths. She's telling him to convert their life forces, channel it w/ the EF; make their deaths have purpose!
2 HS of Rann barely containing the EF. It's shooting out of his eyes and mouth as he psi-talks/mind-links w/ the 'Nauts and Homeworld fleet.
3 SPLASH/MONTAGE. Largest panel of page. Rann's in the center of this Montage as he communicates via the EF w/ the Homeworld fleet. He's floating godlike w/in the mosaic, like the Traveler of old, arms outstretched to make a human-cross. He IS a Traveler at this moment, rays of EF shooting off of him, imbuing Homeworlders w/ the EF to aid them in the war against the K'Lar. W/in the Montage we show HS of Karza, Mari, Bug, a misc. Space Troopers, misc. a Bridge Officers, a few scroungy survivors down on various Homeworld zones (particularly the Sub-Zoners of Royal Zone). Show more 'Nauts if you have room, and maybe some LS of Homeworld ships suddenly dodging faster and shooting truier. But only if you have room. As for the HSs, each person Rann is linked w/ (which is everyone in this Montage) has a EF energy effect on their forehead, and they are in awe as if they've just been given a taste of God's power (w/ the exception of the helmet-clad Karza). Also, Fireflyte is doing her Virgin Mary/Guardian Fairy impersonation bit in the same manner as we talked about the recap/montage on pp 19, issue #1.
