WELCOME TO MY COMMISSIONS GALLERY, ACT 3! Please allow me to explain. I do not have a gallery of original art acquisitions to show off like most collectors here because I’m a “starving artist” so collecting OA is a bit too rich for me. The reason I will record all commissions and special projects art here is because for the second time I had no choice but to relocate my gallery. My original website was built in the late 1990s and my commissions gallery quickly grew in size with 20 entries a page and 14 pages meaning 280+ items listed as several entries focused on more than one image, often times several that shared a theme. The site was built using Joomla software but that soon grew obsolete and the site soon wouldn’t be able to handle all the files in it leading to a collapse under its own weight. So a Wordpress upgrade took place a few years ago with some sections from the first site being archived there, such as my commissions gallery. The new site was set up separately from the rest (not being a tech person I don’t remember why) and the commission gallery only listed 9 entries per page and approached 20 or so pages for another 180+ listings. But something else went wrong and suddenly there was no way I could expand the gallery anymore. So for a couple of years I’ve been storing all files in folders for new entries (up to 68 as I type) on my desktop and I’ve been trying to continue the commissions on record here with the assistance of my chronicler Damon Owens. You can find the beginning of my old gallery here <*sorry, CAF doesn't allow URL links...> and after flipping through those 14 pages get the rest at the second site here <...but you can do searches and follow these instructions*> and work your way back chronologically to page one and continue here where I’ll be sending Damon my files and info and he’ll help with posting that material. Not sure about being able to list them chronologically but I’m kind of out of options and I can’t keep dragging my feet like I have due to a work schedule that never has breaks. I cant wait to get through all that and being able to resume new commissions on real time down the road and by myself. Damon enthusiastically abides!
