1 Largest panel of page. Still w/ the troopers as the blast from the above bomb goes off. Troopers are diving for cover as the fleshy walls of the living ship fly everywhere. Some K'Lar warriors are caught unexpecting in the blast. In fact, it seems as if chunks of the "wall" are unerringly broadsiding other K'Lar warriors who should have been safe of the blast zone. Almost like someone was controlling the blast. Wait, what is that w/in the flame's pattern? A VIG of Cmdr. Rann? How eerie. The Virgin Mother has nothing over on our Micronaut.
2 CUT TO the bridge of the Flag Ship. Karza's watching the space squid reel from this last explosion (and the simultaneous loss of a couple brain-bugs). The squids tendrils are spasming. Karza's noting to the OOD how the othe squids circle around the weakened ship. The OOD is noting this in his data pad.
3 FULL-SHOT of Karza as he turns to the reader/OP OOD. He's telling us that Rann is wielding the EF like never before. Karza can feel the ripples of power even from their great distance. If only he could harness such power. After his short foreshadowing villain monologue, he orders all ships to target the weakened squid. If he can't have the EF, no one will.
4 CUT TO the EXT of the Flag Ship as it, and every other available Homeworld ship, opens fire on the huddled squids. I see the squids panel right, CROPPED- OFF for the most part, w/ the fleet panel left.
